Excitables Inc. uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Technology to protect the security of your credit card information as it is transmitted to us. SSL Technology is a highly sophisticated method of scrambling data as it travels from your computer to our website’s servers.

Disclosure of Information

Excitables Inc.  will not disclose or provide any information to any agency or third-party person except those financial institutions and carrier services involved in processing your order.  The user will not be put onto any mailing list unless he or she wishes to be placed onto one. All information collected by the website is stored on site in a secure remote terminal that is not accessible to the internet at our main plant in Ottawa, Ontario Canada.

In order to process your order, we require your name, billing address, phone number, email address, shipping address and credit card information. We use this information solely to process your order. We share this information, and only that information which is absolutely necessary, with those third parties that are involved in the processing of your order. IE, the financial institution that issued your credit card and the shipping carrier that delivers your order.

To further enhance our security measures, our terminal system is not accessible via the Internet and we delete from our web site database all credit card information within 24 hours of receipt.  We have also taken the appropriate security measures to safeguard your personal information after it has been transferred to our terminal system. For example, our computer network is password protected, it is inaccessible via the Internet and paper copies, if any, are shredded before disposal.

If we make any material changes in our privacy and security practices that do not affect user information then we will post a notice on our website notifying users of the change. In some cases where we post the notice, we will also email users, who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.
